  1.  Wading the sea-lines, moist and ever-mingling, 
  2.  Mounting the earth-lines, long and lax, lethargic. 
  3.  These lines are swift and fall without diverging. 
  4.   
  5.  The melon-flower nor dew nor web of either 
  6.  Is like to these. But in yourself is like: 
  7.  A sheaf of brilliant arrows flying straight, 
  8.  Flying and falling straightway for their pleasure, 
  9.   
  10.  Their pleasure that is all bright-edged and cold; 
  11.  Or, if not arrows, then the nimblest motions, 
  12.  Making recoveries of young nakedness 
  13.  And the lost vehemence the midnights hold.
